After many years of trading and industry experience, Garage Master has both the parts and skilled staff to make sure that your garage doors continue to function correctly. We carry out repairs on doors and electronic openers. We also supply spares for every need and use.
If you have a problem with your garage door, operator or remote control, please get in touch. We will always try our best to diagnose your problem and to offer you the best possible solution in the shortest possible time.
For major repairs, however, our surveyor may need to pay a visit to your garage beforehand. We can also provide you with quotes for insurance claims.

If you wish to perform repairs yourself then contact Garage Master for a supply of available parts and accessories from the following manufacturers:

Please note that we cannot offer advice regarding the installation or repair of garage doors to private individuals. Please always use the appropriate manufacturer’s instructions (when possible).
We are unable to accept any liability for injuries to individuals who have attempted the DIY installation or repair of a garage door or operator using parts purchased from Garage Master. If you have any questions or doubts, contact an experienced garage door fitter before you attempt to install.
Maintenance
Garage Master always aims to use the highest quality parts. However, we cannot guarantee the effects of time, weather and usage on any of our installations.
All of our customers with an automatic operator are offered a reasonably priced annual service agreement when the 2-year installation guarantee expires.
Our basic cover includes an annual visit from one of our engineers who will check, lubricate and adjust your garage door and operator. The cost of parts needing replacement is not included. Further plans including parts and breakdown are available.
We are also able to offer you service call-outs without an annual contract.
Warranties
Garage Master offers you a 2-year warranty on all of our installations. This covers parts and labour, subject to normal use, from the installation date. Following this period, call-out charges will apply, according to the length of time required to effect a repair, and the travelling time from our base in Poole, Dorset. The cost of parts, if required, will be extra.
Manufacturers’ warranties
Each of our suppliers offers a warranty or guarantee on their products. Hörmann, for example, offers a 10-year warranty on their garage doors (terms and conditions apply). We do most warranty repairs ourselves, and we act as warranty agents for Hörmann UK in Dorset and the surrounding area.
Our warranty cover may vary according to the door part involved. There may also be exclusions regarding usage or modifications made to the product following installation (for example painting or staining a garage door). We always recommend that you take note of all the information provided in the manufacturer’s manual and on the product itself.
